EDRRC - 4th Annual Beer Mile

The Eastern Dutchess Road Runners Club is set to host its 4th Annual Beer Mile on November 24, 2024, from 1 PM to 3 PM at 2 Lakeside Drive, Pawling, NY. This unique running event combines beer drinking with a mile run, attracting participants eager for a fun and challenging experience. Registration for the event is currently open, but participants are advised to sign up before November 23, 2024, as there will be no same-day registrations.

Participants in the Beer Mile will consume four bottles or cans of beer while completing laps of a one-mile course. The event enforces specific rules regarding the types of beer allowed, the drinking order, and handling of alcohol on town property. Before the race, each competitor must complete a waiver, which can be downloaded from the event's website. Attendees are reminded that it is a BYOB event, and designated drivers are highly recommended for those consuming alcohol.
