Race Description
The E. Rivers Shivers 5K Run/Walk is set to take place on Saturday, October 26, 2024, celebrating its 10th annual event. The race aims to raise funds for the students of E. Rivers through the PTA, with all proceeds benefiting the school community. The event offers a scenic route along Peachtree Battle Ave and is a USATF certified official qualifying event for the Atlanta Track Club.
Participants can look forward to awards for top age group finishers and a special prize for the best costume. The event, which begins at 8:00 AM, also features a DJ, snacks, and a 100-yard Fun Run for children scheduled for 9:00 AM. Registration is currently open with early bird rates available until October 6, 2024, and packets will be distributed on the day of the race or prior to race day for registered participants.
