Race Description
The DSNOCC 13th Annual Buddy Walk® is set to take place on October 12, 2024, at the Jacksonville Commons Recreation Complex in Jacksonville, NC. This event, originally established by the National Down Syndrome Society in 1995, aims to promote acceptance and inclusivity for individuals with Down Syndrome, and has become a significant advocacy event in the United States.
Participants of the Buddy Walk are encouraged to gather their friends and family to support a worthy cause while engaging in activities designed to foster community spirit. The event focuses on fun and fundraising, supporting programs for individuals with Down Syndrome in an inclusive atmosphere.
