Dragons in the Woods

The 'Dragons in the Woods' race is set to return on October 19, 2024, marking its 11th season. Held at the scenic Birchfield Park in Holt, Michigan, the event invites both seasoned runners and families looking to engage in a walking or running experience. All proceeds from the race will benefit the Island City Academy, a charter school located in Eaton Rapids.

Participants can register for the race at a discounted rate of $25 until October 6, with prices increasing to $30 until October 18. Group pricing is also available, allowing up to four participants to register for only $85. The top performers in various categories will receive awards, and all race participants can look forward to getting a race shirt if they register early. The event will be timed by the Michigan Running Foundation and will include live results posted on the event's website.
