The Dee Pogue Foundation (DPF) will host its 5th Annual DPF 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, June 14th, 2025, at 8:00 AM CST in Anniston, Alabama. This event aims to celebrate the organization's commitment to providing mentorship in S.T.E.M. education for young African American boys, and it encompasses a competitive 5K run on a USATF certified course around Zinn Park.
Proceeds from the event will support deserving male high school seniors in Calhoun County pursuing a college education. Registration is currently open, with various pricing options available, including discounted rates for students and early bird adult registrations. Participants are encouraged to check in early on race day to ensure a smooth experience.
