Race Description
The Downingtown Good Neighbor Day is set to take place on July 4, 2025, featuring various activities including the Run for Life 5K, 10K, and 15K, alongside the popular 5K Freedom Walk. This annual event attracts approximately 1,500 athletes and is aimed at benefiting local fire and rescue squads within the Downingtown Area School District.
Participants in the event can look forward to a day filled with food, crafts from 80-100 exhibitors, and a fireworks display at dusk. The races will provide prizes and incentives, including T-shirts for the first registered runners and medals for the top finishers in each category. Online registration is open, with all proceeds supporting emergency services in the community.
