Race Description
The inaugural A Silent Cry 5K Run/Walk is set to take place on Saturday, October 19th, 2024, at 8:00 am along the scenic Riverfront Esplanade in Daytona Beach, Florida. This event, presented by Move At Your Own Pace, LLC in collaboration with the Domestic Abuse Council of Volusia County, aims to raise awareness about domestic violence and provide vital resources to those affected.
Participants can look forward to various perks including a custom race shirt, a finisher's medal, access to a post-race party, and eligibility for awards in their respective age groups. Packet pickup will occur on Friday, October 18th at the Running Elements store, with the option to collect packets on race day as well. Organizers hope to unite the community in support of a crucial cause while making a positive impact on the lives of survivors.
