Race Description
The 12th annual Light the Way 5K will take place on Friday, November 8, 2024, at Dollywood, as part of the Smoky Mountain Christmas festival. Runners will experience a nighttime race through a stunning holiday park adorned with over 6 million Christmas lights. This year's race has been organized by the Knoxville Track Club, ensuring a professionally timed event for all participants.
With participation limited to 1,500 runners, registration is currently open online, with fees set at $45 until August 31 and $50 from September 1 until the event date. It's important to note that the race is geared towards runners, with no strollers allowed, while there will also be a separate 1-mile fun walk for those who wish to walk the event. All finishers will receive a commemorative medal, and awards will be presented to the top three overall male and female finishers.
