Race Description
The DMAC Monster Dash Fun Run 5k is set to take place on October 20, 2024, in Denton, Texas, organized by the Denton Music and Art Collaborative (DMAC Denton). This inclusive event welcomes participants of all ages, including runners, walkers, and those with strollers. Each registered participant will receive a wristband, a themed t-shirt, and entry into the costume contest and other festivities, ensuring a fun-filled experience for families and community members alike.
Highlighting the event is the 1 mile Trick or Treat Trail, offering a whimsical candy-themed experience along the pathway. Participants will also have the option to complete an additional 2.1 miles for those interested in running the full 5k distance. Although the 2024 edition will not include a timed run, the organizers hope to develop this into a regular event moving forward. The event will also feature a public art market where local artists and businesses will showcase their work.
