Race Description
The Diane Peppler Resource Center, in collaboration with Yooper Running Company, is set to host its annual 5k event on September 21, 2024. The race aims to raise awareness and support for survivors of domestic and sexual violence, as well as other forms of abuse. Participants will start and finish the race in the parking lot of the Famous Soo Locks Boat Tours, following a scenic route along Portage Ave.
Registration for the Diane Peppler Resource Center 5k is currently open, with early bird pricing available until September 1, 2024. Participants will enjoy post-race refreshments, the chance to win various awards, including age group recognitions, and a unique medal crafted by Oaklawn Laser Works. The event promises to be not only a test of physical endurance but also a community gathering to support an important cause.
