Race Description
The DENFIT 1776 annual run is set to take place on July 4th, 2025, at the Cape Vincent Recreation Park in Cape Vincent, NY. This event celebrates Independence Day by encouraging participants to run while displaying an American flag, fostering a sense of community and honor for the nation's founders.
Participants can choose from three event options: a 5k run, a 7.76 mile course, or the 17.76 mile Challenge, which requires runners to carry a 3x5 American flag for the entire distance. Although the event is not timed, it promises fun for runners of all fitness levels with post-race refreshments and a community bike parade to follow.
