Race Description
The DeFuniak Springs Triathlon 2025 is set to take place on May 3, 2025, in the picturesque town of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. This sprint triathlon features a challenging 600-yard swim in one of the world's most uniquely round lakes, followed by a scenic 16-mile bike ride through the charming countryside and culminating in a 5K run around the lake, showcasing the area's historic Victorian-style homes.
As part of the event weekend, participants and spectators are encouraged to enjoy Lakefest, which offers a variety of activities including kayak and stand-up paddle board races, food vendors, live entertainment, and more. Registration for the event is currently open, making this inaugural triathlon an exciting new addition to local racing calendars.
