The annual Dead Man's Run, a themed 5K fundraiser, is set to take place at the Historic Congressional Cemetery in Washington, D.C. on Saturday, October 12, 2024. This unique event is designed to be both fun and slightly spooky, promising participants an evening run complemented by lively music and a ghostly atmosphere, beginning with the toll of a funeral bell.
Costumes are encouraged for this engaging race, with awards for the best individual and team costumes to add to the festive spirit. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Congressional Cemetery’s preservation efforts, supporting its designation as a National Historic Landmark.
