Race Description
The inaugural Dash for Diabetes Awareness 5K & 1mi RUN or WALK is slated for Saturday, November 16th, 2024, at 9am at the Mesilla Plaza in Las Cruces, NM. This event aims to raise essential funds for Southern New Mexico Diabetes Outreach, coinciding with World Diabetes Awareness Month.
Participants can register prior to the race, which includes a "Fun Walk" beginning at 9:15am and a 5K run commencing shortly after at 9:20am. The event will also feature a health fair from 9am to 12pm, emphasizing community awareness and education about diabetes.
