Race Description
The DanceBlue 5K Race For The Kids is set to take place on Saturday, October 27, 2024, at Great Crossings High School in Georgetown, KY. This annual event supports the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Clinic at the University of Kentucky, where students work year-round to raise essential funds for groundbreaking cancer research and patient services.
Participants can expect a fun and engaging atmosphere with a 5K Run/Walk along the scenic campus of Great Crossings High School. Additional highlights include commemorative race t-shirts, awards for top finishers, convenient race day packet pickups, and a special discounted rate for students 17 and under. The event aims to foster community spirit while making a significant impact on the lives of children battling cancer.
