Race Description
The CUSR Cupcake 5K, set to take place on November 3, 2024, is a timed 5K race designed to be accessible for all participants. This celebratory event not only provides a chance to enjoy a run but concludes with a sweet reward—a cupcake. The proceeds from the race will support the CUSR Scholarship Fund, which assists families and residents of Champaign-Urbana with disabilities in registering for programs at a reduced cost.
Participants are encouraged to register by October 7, 2024, to receive a race shirt, with additional shirts available for purchase on the day of the event. The post-race celebration, the Cupcake 5K After Party, will take place from 10 AM to Noon at the Landing at Legends, featuring breakfast, drinks, and giveaways.
