The Cowboy Tough Adventure Race is set to challenge participants in two distinct endurance formats on August 9, 2025. With a focus on adventure racing skills, this event invites both seasoned athletes and novices to test their limits in the picturesque Wyoming landscape. The race features a 12-hour course at altitudes exceeding 8000 feet, showcasing breathtaking views, along with a 6-hour beginner to intermediate option that includes running, biking, paddling, and navigation tasks at Curt Gowdy State Park.
Registration is currently open for both the 12-hour and 6-hour races which will host participants eager for an exhilarating outdoor experience. The event is anticipated to draw adventure racing enthusiasts with its combination of challenging terrains and beautiful backdrops of the Laramie mountains. With the race headquarters at Hynds Lodge, amenities including parking and camping will be conveniently located nearby, enhancing the overall participant experience.
