Race Description
The Annual Cottonmouth Beerlay is set to return on June 7, 2025, offering an exhilarating mix of running and drinking for participants. Held at the scenic Lakewood Nature Preserve in Greenville, South Carolina, this unique event invites both individuals and relay teams to complete an 8-mile course while enjoying refreshing beer in between laps. With a vibrant atmosphere and camaraderie among runners, this race aims to create unforgettable memories and a fun experience for everyone involved.
Participants will have the chance to choose between racing solo or forming teams of up to four. The event will start at 5 PM, where participants will follow a 2-mile loop four times, consuming a beer before each lap. In addition to the race, attendees can look forward to a lively post-run celebration featuring music, food, and more beer. The Cottonmouth Beerlay promises to be not only a test of endurance but also a celebration of community and enjoyment in a beautiful natural setting.
