Race Description
The Costume Fun Run is set to take place on October 26, 2024, in Council, Idaho. The event aims to support the local High School Cross Country team, offering participants a scenic route that winds through the picturesque town and incorporates portions of the Weiser River Trail. A mile run starts at 9:30 AM followed by a 5K run at 10 AM, encouraging both competitive runners and families to participate.
Participants are encouraged to don costumes for a chance to win awards in various categories such as Best Overall Costume and Best Halloween Costume, judged by the Council's Cross Country Team. Registration fees are $20 for early sign-ups before October 18th, increasing to $25 on race day, with special rates for students and free entry for younger children and strollers. Proceeds from the race will directly aid the Council High School Cross Country team.
