Race Description
On October 19, 2024, the Assateague Coastal Walk and 5K Run will take place at Assateague State Park, Berlin, MD. Registration begins at 8 AM, followed by a race start at 9 AM. Participants can choose between a two-mile walk or a more competitive 5K run, both of which benefit the Macky & Pam Stansell House of Coastal Hospice.
The event offers a unique experience, with the 5K route including a scenic run along the beach, providing participants a beautiful sandy start. Registration is set at $30 per participant and includes a T-shirt, with medals awarded to the top finishers in each category.
