Race Description
The Shenandoah Coal Cracker 10K is set to take place on June 7, 2025, in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania. This iconic running event begins in downtown Shenandoah and presents a challenging course that winds through the hills of the Coal Region, culminating in a steep ascent up St. Nick's breaker. The race aims to test the endurance and grit of all participants, culminating in a thrilling downhill finish back into town.
In addition to the main 10K event, the Coal Cracker will also feature a 1.5 Kids' Fun Run for children aged 12 and under, as well as a 1.5 mile run/walk for participants of all ages. Following the race, all participants are invited to an awards ceremony, and will enjoy delicious local treats, including Mrs. T's Pierogies and Yuengling beer, alongside unique handcrafted awards. The event was established to celebrate the spirit of running within the community while offering post-race festivities.
