Race Description
The Club South Runners will host the Freedom Mile, a lively series of races scheduled for July 4, 2025, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This event features 1-mile races, including a special parent-child ½ mile fun run, providing a unique experience for families and runners of all ages. The event culminates at the historic Old State Capitol, promising a colorful and spirited atmosphere.
On race day, activities will kick off at 7:00 AM with on-site registration, followed by various starting times for different categories ranging from Masters to Youth divisions. Participants can expect awards for overall and age group winners, along with certificates for young finishers in the fun run. A shuttle service will be available to transport runners from the finish line to the start for most events, enhancing the convenience of the race day experience.
