Race Description
The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is set to host its highly anticipated Future for Wildlife 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Walk on October 6, 2024. This annual event aims to raise funds for wildlife conservation, allowing participants to support various species including the Andean Bear, Asian Turtle, Giraffe, Gorilla, Lion, or Rhino. Registration is currently open, providing an opportunity for walkers and runners alike to be part of this charitable cause.
Participants can expect a vibrant race day atmosphere, with registration and packet pick-up starting at 7:00 AM, followed by the 5K race at 8:30 AM and the 1-mile walk at 9:00 AM. All participants will receive a custom race t-shirt and a finisher medal, alongside post-race refreshments. Spectators can also join in the excitement by purchasing tickets online for zoo entry, ensuring a lively day for everyone involved.
