Race Description
The City of Valor 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run is set to take place on November 11, 2024, in Leeds, Alabama. This event, honoring Veterans Day, invites participants to adopt patriotic colors as they traverse the historic downtown streets of Leeds, known for celebrating its Medal of Honor recipients. Top finishers in the 5K will be recognized, making the event both competitive and community-focused.
Participants can register online, and packet pickup will occur on the morning of the race starting at 6:45 a.m. Following the races, there will be an awards ceremony at 9:30 a.m., along with a community-wide pancake breakfast, fostering a spirit of camaraderie and gratitude for local heroes.
