The Circle the Bay race is set to return on August 9, 2025, featuring a 30-kilometer course that spans from Ferry Road Park in North Bend through Coos Bay’s waterfront. Participants can choose to run or walk the entire distance solo or form a 3-person team. This event, known for its scenic views, also provides an opportunity for volunteer involvement for those who prefer not to compete.
The course is divided into three legs, each varying in difficulty, with support ending at 1 PM for participants to complete the run in 5 hours and the walk in 6.5 hours. Water stations will be available approximately every 6 miles, ensuring adequate hydration throughout. Registration is currently open for the upcoming race, inviting both seasoned runners and newcomers to take part in this community event.
