Race Description
The Cherohala 5K Run/Walk 2024 is set to take place on Saturday, October 26th, during the Cherohala Skyway Festival in Tellico Plains, TN. This annual event invites participants to enjoy a scenic race course that starts and ends along the Cherohala Skyway, with portions running alongside the Tellico River. Registration is currently open, offering participants a chance to earn a commemorative T-shirt and enjoy refreshments before and after the race.
Runners and walkers are advised that registration and packet pick-up will commence at 7 a.m. at the Runner's Arch. The event features a warm-up session provided by Grow and Flow Yoga at 7:30 a.m., with medals awarded to the top finishers in various age categories. The Cherohala Skyway Festival complements the race, offering family-friendly activities, food, and local vendors. Proceeds from the event will support the outdoor classroom fund for the Charles Hall Museum and Heritage Center.
