Race Description
The Cheesy Pretzel 5K and 1 Mile Walk will return on October 6, 2024, at The Promenade Bolingbrook in Bolingbrook, Illinois. This certified 5K event will provide all participants with an order of Bar Louie's Pretzel Bites and Cheese. Early registrants will also receive a moisture-wicking long sleeve shirt, with size preferences available on a first-come, first-served basis. Strollers are welcome, but children in strollers do not receive race shirts or medals.
The event promotes fundraising for struggling teens through various community programs. Participants can choose to support a local charitable organization by collecting pledges or making a donation at registration. The registration fees are set at $30 until August 31, 2024, with rates increasing closer to race day. The day is packed with activities, including a warm-up session, race starts, and an awards ceremony for top finishers in multiple age categories.
