On April 12, 2025, DuPagePads will host its inaugural fundraiser, "Charity Challenge: The Great Descent," at Hotel Arista in Naperville, Illinois. This unique event invites 100 participants to rappel 12 stories down from the rooftop, providing an exciting way to support the cause of ending homelessness.
The day-long event will feature family, friends, and spectators who can enjoy music and food from the ground level while cheering on participants. Rappelling is scheduled ahead of time, with participants expected to spend about 1-1.5 hours preparing for their descent. This is one of only two such opportunities in Illinois, making it a unique experience for participants and attendees alike.
