Race Description
The second annual Cerebral Palsy Family Run/Walk 5k is scheduled to take place on October 19, 2024, at Belmont Lake State Park in North Babylon, NY. This event aims to raise awareness for individuals living with cerebral palsy and promote community support. All participants are encouraged to run or walk alongside Julianna Rose, who is a courageous young girl living with this condition.
Cerebral Palsy affects millions globally, with a prevalence of about 2 in every 1000 live births. The event welcomes families, and children under 15 can participate for free. Registration is currently open, and all participants will receive a T-shirt upon checking in. The course will be self-timed, featuring a finish line clock, and pets are welcome on-leash as per park regulations.
