Race Description
The Central Upper Peninsula CISM Donut Dash is set to take place on October 19, 2024, in Marquette, Michigan. This 5K race aims to bring the community together, allowing participants to compete against local first responders. The race will follow a scenic route along the bike path, ending just after the Carp River, with awards for various categories, promoting mental health support for emergency personnel.
Registration is now open, with an entry fee of $30 for citizens and $25 for law enforcement officers before October 18. There will also be a 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk available for $10. Packets can be picked up the day before the race or on the day of, and all proceeds will benefit the Central U.P. Critical Incident Stress Management Team. Sponsors for this event include several local businesses and organizations committed to supporting first responders.
