Race Description
The 9th Celtic Calling Gathering and Friends of Spring Hill Cemetery Park and Arboretum will host the 5K Kilt Run and 2K Walk on March 1, 2025. Participants are invited to enjoy a scenic course that weaves through the Cemetery's peaceful grounds, adorned with historic monuments and champion trees of West Virginia, accompanied by the invigorating sounds of bagpipes.
Registration is open for runners and walkers of all ages, with fees starting at $20 for the 2K Walk and $25 for the 5K Run. Special awards will be given for various categories including best-dressed participants in kilts and for dogs, highlighting the event's celebration of Celtic culture and community spirit. Proceeds will benefit the Friends of Spring Hill Cemetery Park and Arboretum, supporting the enhancement of the cemetery and arboretum for public enjoyment.
