Race Description
The Cathy Fischer Memorial Walk and Run is set to take place on July 13, 2025, at Sunset Memorial Park in North Olmsted, OH. This event is organized to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, honoring the legacy of Cathy Fischer, who dedicated herself to raising funds for the organization while battling Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Participants will have the opportunity to choose between a 5K run/walk and a 1-mile run/walk, with the 5K route featuring challenging rolling hills as per Cathy’s wishes.
Registration is currently closed, with a variety of pricing options having been available leading up to the event date. Participants can expect to receive a commemorative towel for the 5K and a customized paperweight for the 1-mile event. The race will also feature age group awards and post-race refreshments, reinforcing the community spirit and support for cancer research and awareness.
