Race Description
The Captain Fleming’s Second Annual Gator Fun Run is set to take place on April 19, 2025, at Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium. This unique 5K run will commemorate an infamous event from 1922 when an alligator escaped from a fire station, sending firefighters scrambling. The event aims to provide a fun, family-oriented atmosphere while supporting the Omaha Firefighters Historical Society.
Participants can register for the run with a donation of $50, which includes access to the zoo for the entire day, a commemorative t-shirt, and an opportunity to support local firefighters.
