Race Description
The Capital City Dia de los Muertos 5K Run/Walk/Roll is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Granger Meadows Park in Lansing, MI. This event celebrates the tradition of Día de los Muertos, a holiday honoring life and death, and invites participants of all ages to join in the festivities dressed in traditional attire.
Participants can pre-register for the event until October 16th for a fee of $35, which includes a Día de los Muertos t-shirt. After this date, registration will increase to $40. A special kids' run is also available, encouraging younger participants to join for a registration fee of $10. All finishers (excluding the kids' run) will receive commemorative medals and t-shirts, reinforcing the community spirit of this family-friendly event.
