Race Description
The Cape Fear Habitat Turkey Trot took place at Wrightsville Beach on Thanksgiving Day, November 28, 2024. This family-friendly event encouraged participants to dress in festive turkey costumes while running or walking to support a charitable cause.
Participants had the option of racing in a 1 Mile run/walk or a timed 5K. The event attracted community members eager to contribute to Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity's ongoing efforts to provide affordable housing. With plenty of activities and a costume contest, the Turkey Trot blended fitness with fun, reinforcing a spirit of gratitude and community engagement.
