Race Description
The inaugural Cane Creek Mountain Trail Run will take place on September 13, 2025, in Snow Camp, North Carolina. Participants can choose between a 10K race and a Half Marathon that features scenic single-track trails. At the end of the race, runners will face a stair climb to the top of an 80-foot observation tower, offering breathtaking views from the highest peak in North Carolina east of Greensboro.
The event will be hosted at the Cane Creek Mountain Natural Area, a newly established 1000-acre park in Alamance County. Registration is currently open, and the race is expected to attract participants from nearby cities such as Chapel Hill, Durham, and Greensboro.
