The Candy Land Run invites participants to experience a delightful journey through a life-sized Candy Land on November 2, 2024. This unique event encourages runners, walkers, and hikers to engage in a whimsical adventure while supporting a noble cause. As runners traverse local trails in Richland, WA, they will encounter themed stations brimming with treats and beloved characters from the childhood game.
Set against the picturesque backdrop of Candy Mountain, this fundraiser for Mirror Ministries aims to support victims and survivors of sex trafficking. Participants can choose from various routes, including a 1.25-mile Grumdrop Loop, a 3.5-mile Chocolate Route, and a 10k Licorice Trail, each promising fun and challenges. With chip-timing introduced for 2024 and prizes for top finishers, the event combines competitive spirit with community enrichment.
