Race Description
The Rushville Police Department is excited to announce the upcoming "Can You Get Away?" 5K event scheduled for July 12, 2025. This off-road run/walk, held at the Riverside Park Amphitheater in Rushville, Indiana, is a significant fundraiser for the Fallen Officer and K9 Memorial, which honors past police K9s and officers who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty.
Participants in the 5K will face a unique challenge as they run over varying terrains and compete against the times set by Rushville police officers. Custom medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each category, and those who beat the officers' times will receive special prizes. The event promises to be both a competitive and a meaningful tribute to those who have served.
