Race Description
The Cades Cove Loop Lope is a distinctive footrace held in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, organized to support the Friends of the Smokies charity. This event is notable for directing funds raised towards essential park projects, including wildlife conservation and historic preservation.
Participants can choose between a 5K run or a USATF Certified 10-Mile Loop, with a total registration cap of 750 runners. The event is expected to sell out quickly, thus early registration is encouraged. Carpooling is recommended, and limited parking passes will be available for those driving to the location.
