Race Description
The Burke Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department (BVFRD) is set to host its fourth annual Fire Drill 5K/1M on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Burke Lake Park. The race will start at 8:00 AM, drawing in participants from the local community to support the vital services provided by BVFRD.
Funds raised from the event will go towards equipment and training for the BVFRD, which serves the citizens of Burke, Fairfax, Fairfax Station, Springfield, and Annandale. Participants will receive commemorative shirts and medals, with awards for the top finishers in different age categories. Registration is currently open and will close on April 24, 2025, at 8:00 PM.
