Race Description
On January 1, 2025, the Brookfield Lions Club will host the 38th Annual New Year's Day Run for Sight 4-Miler at Brookfield High School. This community-focused event aims to raise funds for the Connecticut Lions Eye Research Foundation and other local charities, furthering their mission to support eye health initiatives.
The race features a flat and fast course, commencing at Brookfield High School and looping through Long Meadow Hill Road, Hillandale Road, Farview Road, and Ironworks Hill Road. Participants can compete for cash prizes, including a $100 award for the overall male and female winners, as well as additional awards for age group placements and a bonus for breaking the course record.
