Race Description
The Brighter Futures Run For Kids Sake is set to take place on November 9, 2024, starting and finishing at Manor Middle School in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. This event marks the third in-person running of this rapidly growing 5K race, inviting participants to run or walk on a well-marked and accurately measured course.
The race features a paved and mostly flat route that encircles both Manor Middle School and Hambright Elementary, connecting with paths in John G. Herr Park. Awards will be presented to the top male and female finishers in various categories, with cash prizes for the overall winners and non-monetary awards for age group finishers. Dogs on a short leash are welcome on the course, but they are not allowed within the school facilities used for registration and restrooms.
