Race Description
The Bright Lights Run/Fast Walk is set to take place on December 4, 2024, at Garvin Park in Evansville, IN. This event, which features a 5K and a 1-mile walk, is unique as it occurs during the night when Ritzy's Fantasy of Lights is closed to vehicle traffic, allowing runners and walkers to enjoy the illuminated displays in a safe environment.
Participants are encouraged to register online, with the promise of medals for the first 150 finishers. New for 2024, a costume contest is also being introduced, allowing attendees to showcase their holiday spirit. Awards will be given to the overall male and female winners, as well as age group winners across various categories.
