Race Description
The Bridges to Bluffs 10k Open Water Swim is set to take place on Sunday, September 22, 2024, in Knoxville, Tennessee. This unique event allows participants to jump off the Star of Knoxville Riverboat into the Tennessee River and swim under five historic bridges, offering spectacular views of both Neyland Stadium and the Knoxville skyline. This race is part of the Tennessee Triple Crown Open Water Series, alongside other renowned open water swims.
Participants can take on the challenge of the 6.2-mile swim solo or as part of a relay team of two swimmers. To compete, swimmers aged 18 and over must be current USMS members or acquire a temporary membership for the event, while younger swimmers must be current USA Swimming members.
