Race Description
The 2024 Bridge & Trestle 17 Mile Run is scheduled to take place on Saturday, December 14th, starting at 10:00 AM, with packet pickup beginning at 8:30 AM at Creeper Trail Cottages in Damascus, Virginia. This year, the event will follow an 'OUT-N-BACK' format to showcase the scenic beauty of the local trails.
As part of the State of Franklin Track Club Trail Series and Long Distance Series, this event encourages runners to contribute to environmental sustainability by going cupless, providing collapsible cups at packet pickup for use at aid stations. Awards will be presented to the top male and female finishers, followed by a post-race celebration featuring hot soups and beverages.
