Race Description
The Breakthrough Trail 5K is set to take place on November 2, 2024, at Pamplin Historical Park in Petersburg, Virginia. The race will start at 9:00 a.m., with registration and packet pick-up available from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Participants are expected to run on historic Civil War battlefield trails, which feature a combination of uneven gravel and dirt paths.
Awards will be presented to the top three male and female finishers overall, as well as in specific age categories including Youth (12 and under, 13-17) and Adults (18-29, 30-50, 51 and over). It is important to note that strollers or children in carriers are not permitted on the race course. Interested participants can find more information and register online at the event's website.
