Race Description
The inaugural Bookin’ It 5K and Fun Run will be held on February 23, 2025, at Sandy Creek Park in Athens, Georgia. Organized by The Friends, a non-profit supporting the Athens-Clarke County Library, this event encourages participants to don costumes inspired by their favorite book characters while competing for book-themed prizes.
Registration for the Bookin’ It 5K is now open, and participants will run on a paved course within the park. The Fun Run features a shorter loop around the circle, making it accessible for all ages. For further details, the official course map and weather guidelines are available online.
