Race Description
The Tyrone Race Series is set to host the "Book It for Huntingdon Library" 5K Run and 2 Mile Walk on November 9, 2024. The event will take place along the scenic trail of Blair Park in Huntingdon, offering an opportunity for both competitive runners and casual walkers to participate in support of the local library.
Participants can register in advance for the event, which includes a long sleeve shirt and goodie bag, or sign up on the day of the race. Proceeds will benefit the Huntingdon County Library, a vital resource in the community, providing access to various media and educational programs. The event kicks off with check-in at 7:30 AM, followed by the start of the 5K Run at 9:00 AM.
