Race Description
The 'Book It! 5k' is set to take place on October 26, 2024, at Lykins Park in Winchester, Kentucky. This fundraising event aims to support the Friends of the Clark County Public Library, inviting participants to run in their favorite book character costumes, with a costume contest also scheduled to add to the festivities.
Participants can choose to compete in the race or simply join the costume contest. The race will be hand-timed, and runners are reminded to ensure that their numbers are recorded at the finish line. Number and shirt pickup will start at 2:00 PM before the race begins, as the event organizers encourage a fun and community-oriented atmosphere.
