Race Description
The Blackstone Valley Prep 5K Run/Walk and Kids’ Fun Run, now in its 10th year, will be held on October 6, 2024, at Slater Park in Pawtucket, RI. This popular event encourages participation from scholars, families, and community members, promoting health and wellness in an inclusive and festive atmosphere. Strollers and leashed dogs are invited to join this fun-filled morning.
Participants can look forward to a variety of activities throughout the event day, beginning with bib pickup at 8:00 a.m. followed by a special Kids’ Fun Run at 9:00 a.m. and the main 5K Run/Walk at 9:15 a.m. Preregistration is recommended to secure a t-shirt, as they will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. All proceeds from the event will benefit athletics at Blackstone Valley Prep.
